I have discovered that feeling indifferent is just as uncomfortable as feeling something substantial.

It's like beating a dead horse because you want the dead horse to wake up. There always comes a point when you get tired and you realize it's a pointless action. Suddenly, you wondered why you ever began at all. The horse is still dead, and all you are is drained. This doesn't seem fair. I am just going to let the dead horse lie.
